Thanksgiving is a particularly American holiday. The word evokes images of football, family reunions, roasted turkey with stuffing, pumpkin pie and, of course, the Pilgrims and Wampanoag, the acknowledged founders of the feast. All of your family gets together saying thanks for all the good things that we had. 

I'm thankful for my my family and friends for being there when i need them.

What Chick Moorman means with this quote is that it is more important for you to be a honorable person than if you win or lose in something. If you know the right thing, people will respect you more than a person that did not do the right thing.

Veterans Day is a day people who risk their lives for us Americans. They fight for our freedom it is A federal Holiday  that is observed on November 11. It coincides with other holidays such as Armistice Day and Remembrance Day,which are celebrated in other parts of the world and also mark the anniversary of the end of World War 1.Veterans Day made me feel sad because people Veterans do so much for our lives and they might be die right now I just feel sad for all of them
